When asked, most people can pull from memory a teacher that touched their life in a significant way.
For me, it’s a no-brainer. I loved school and learning.Since I was so inqusitive as a child, I enjoyed active, hands-on lessons the most. Several teachers still stand out in my mind and I credit them with moving me along my path in life. Their lessons have stayed with me and even altered my thinking later on in life.
This week we want to show our teacher-love because it’s National Teacher Appreciation Week (May 7-11). If you have a special teacher in your life, currently or from your past, take a little time to show them how important they are and what they mean to you. If you’re the teacher: THANK YOU! for all you do. And, thank you to my teachers, whom I’ll be writing about in this week of tribute articles. You may never see my praise, but I want to share with the world, the lessons you taught me.
Join Three Cats Crafts this week, as we show our love and respect for Super Teachers everywhere, with freebies, crafts, gift ideas and summer break activities. And, please feel free to share your memories of that special teacher you can’t forget, along with the lessons you learned.
To get our celebration started off right, here are several websites that keep teachers in mind, and don’t forget to use #ThankATeacher in your social media posts to show your support.
